Why should I use a travel advisor?
A travel advisor helps you sort through the options, find the right fit for your travel style and budget, and coordinate the details. Your chosen Get Up and Go advisor provides personal guidance, clear communication, and support from planning through your trip. Our supplier relationships may also provide access to valuable benefits on eligible bookings.
Do I need to know exactly where I want to go?
No! Your dates, approximate budget, and the kind of experience you want are a great starting point. We can narrow down destinations together.
Can you help with more than resorts and cruises?
Yes. We also plan guided tours, group travel, and custom itineraries, including national park adventures. Contact your preferred advisor to talk about what you have in mind.
How do planning fees work?
Planning fees depend on the type of trip and the work involved. Some fees are refundable when you book within 30 days of receiving your proposal; your advisor will explain the applicable terms before planning begins. Custom trips require time, research, and detailed logistical planning. We take care to align the details for a seamless trip, and any custom planning fee will be explained and agreed upon in advance.
Should I consider travel protection?
All Get Up and Go advisors strongly recommend considering travel protection. Depending on the plan, it may help protect your travel investment and provide coverage while you’re traveling, such as emergency medical benefits or travel assistance. Coverage varies, so please read all terms, conditions, and exclusions before choosing a plan.
